Verity leads the NFU’s Dairy Team, working closely alongside the NFU’s National Dairy Board to help drive and shape UK agri-policy, promote fair and functioning supply chains, support the development of resilient, competitive businesses and champion UK dairy farmers. She has worked for the NFU for 9 years, during which she has spent time on secondment working for the British Agriculture Bureau as a European Policy Adviser in Brussels, representing the UK Farming Unions through the Brexit transition and helping to build new trading relationships with the EU. She studied political science at Exeter University and grew up on a mixed arable and livestock farm in Herefordshire.
